On June 15, 2026, Automech Mechanical Equipment and Solution Joint Stock Company officially held the Grand Opening Ceremony of its Production Factory No. 2 at the Viet Nhat Industrial Cluster, Bac Ninh Province. This event marks a significant milestone in Automech’s production capacity expansion strategy, while demonstrating the enterprise’s commitment to engaging more deeply in the supporting industry supply chain in Vietnam.
The commissioning of Factory No. 2 not only helps Automech scale up its production capacity for mechanical components, auto parts, motorcycle parts, electric vehicle (EV) parts, and household appliance components, but also contributes to fostering localization goals in the manufacturing industry. From this component manufacturing foundation, Automech expects to gradually drive the synchronized development of related sectors such as molds, fixtures, product design, machinery manufacturing, automation, and technical production services.

From Factory No. 1 to the Ambition of Expanding Production Capacity
Prior to investing in Production Factory No. 2, Automech accumulated years of experience in providing mechanical equipment, solutions, automation, and production lines for industrial enterprises in Vietnam.
Through partnering with customers, Automech identified an increasingly urgent demand for a domestic supply of high-quality components, mechanical parts, and sub-assemblies in Vietnam. Especially in sectors like automotive, motorcycle, EV, household appliances, and supporting industries, taking the initiative in domestic supply not only shortens delivery times and optimizes costs, but also helps increase localization rates and reduce dependence on foreign imports.
Driven by these practical market needs, Automech gradually transitioned from a equipment and solution supplier to a direct manufacturer. In 2023, Automech’s Production Factory No. 1 in Dinh Tram Industrial Park, Bac Ninh formally entered operation, marking a crucial transformation for the enterprise.
Equipped with modern machinery and an experienced engineering team, Factory No. 1 has step-by-step mastered the production of molds, fixtures, automated machinery, mechanical sub-assemblies, and products serving the automotive, motorcycle, and supporting industries.
After nearly three years of operation, Factory No. 1 has not only enhanced Automech’s internal production capability but also created a solid foundation for the company to participate in large-scale projects for major clients like VinFast, Kim Long Motor – Hue, SYV, Korean FDI clients, and many other industrial manufacturing partners. This has been a key premise for Automech to progressively affirm the competence of a Vietnamese mechanical enterprise within modern production supply chains.

The No. 1 Automech Manufacturer
The Driving Force Behind Factory No. 2
The success of Factory No. 1, combined with the growing market demand for production expansion and the aspiration to attract more component localization opportunities, became the driving force for Automech to continue investing in Production Factory No. 2.
In addition to market dynamics, Government policies aimed at promoting the private sector, supporting manufacturing enterprises, and developing supporting industries serve as an essential foundation for domestic mechanical enterprises to confidently make in-depth investments. Furthermore, the companionship and support from local authorities throughout the project implementation created favorable conditions for Automech to accelerate the investment progress and bring the factory into operation ahead of schedule.
According to a representative of Automech’s Board of Directors: “Factory No. 2 is not just an expansion of our production scale; it is a strategic move to upgrade our supply capacity, increase the localization rate of mechanical components, and prepare for our goal to integrate more deeply into the global supply chain in the coming years.”

Breaking ground in late 2025, Production Factory No. 2 was completed and put into operation after approximately 8 months of construction. Throughout the execution phase, the project was strictly controlled in terms of progress, construction quality, occupational safety, fire prevention and fighting, as well as all current technical regulations.
Completing the facility in such a short timeframe demonstrates not only the investment determination of the enterprise but also the superior organization, management, and project execution capabilities of the Automech team.

Methodical Investment in Supporting Industries
Production Factory No. 2 is oriented to become a hub for manufacturing stamped parts, metal components, and sub-assemblies serving the automotive, motorcycle, EV, household appliance, and other supporting industries.
The main production sectors at the factory include:
-
Metal sheet stamping utilizing equipment from the Yadon brand.
-
Component processing and assembly via automatic spot welding and Mig/Mag welding stations.
-
Production of auto, motorcycle, and EV parts.
-
Production of household appliance components.
-
Production of mechanical sub-assemblies for supporting industries.
Beyond investing in machinery and production lines, Automech places a heavy emphasis on building quality management systems, operational processes, production control standards, and a professional working environment. These are critical factors for the business to meet the increasingly stringent requirements from domestic customers, FDI enterprises, and multinational manufacturing corporations.
Particularly, developing domestic component production capabilities goes far beyond creating the final product. Behind every mechanical detail lies an entire industrial ecosystem encompassing product design, mold design, mold making, precision machining, machinery manufacturing, automation, quality control, and production management. This is the exact value chain that Automech is step-by-step building and mastering.

Driving Mechanical Component Localization and Domestic Supply Chains
As Vietnam becomes a vital destination for multiple global manufacturing corporations, the need to develop a domestic supplier ecosystem is more urgent than ever. To participate deeply in the supply chain, domestic enterprises must possess not only production capacity but also satisfy standards regarding quality, lead time, cost, governance, and continuous improvement capabilities.
Looking beyond its own capacity expansion goals, Automech aspires to be one of the pioneer enterprises playing a bridging role to stimulate the growth of the domestic community of mechanical, molding, machinery manufacturing, and supporting industry enterprises.
Through investments in factory infrastructure, technology, management systems, and technical capabilities, Automech expects to accompany Vietnamese enterprises in elevating production capacity, improving product quality, and enhancing the ability to meet international and domestic client standards—thereby contributing to the localization rate and competitiveness of the Vietnamese supply chain.
Automech believes that the mechanical component localization process cannot be achieved by a single company, but requires the participation of an entire ecosystem consisting of manufacturers, mold makers, design units, equipment builders, material suppliers, and technology partners. Within this ecosystem, Automech wishes to serve as an active core unit, sharing experience, expanding cooperation opportunities, and driving sustainable domestic production capacity.
This is the exact pathway that Automech pursues: not merely manufacturing components, but gradually working alongside enterprises within the ecosystem to jointly build comprehensive capabilities spanning design, mold making, equipment manufacturing, production organization, and quality control. This approach enables the business to increase added value while providing practical contributions to the development of the country’s supporting industry.
Heading Towards the Global Supply Chain
Bringing Factory No. 2 into operation allows Automech to scale up its order fulfillment capacity, take greater initiative in production, and unlock broader partnerships with FDI firms, major domestic manufacturers, and global industrial groups investing in Vietnam.
In the coming period, Automech will continue to invest in technology, develop its technical workforce, upgrade production management capacity, and perfect its quality systems to satisfy international standards. The company’s goal is to progressively introduce “Made in Vietnam” supporting industrial products deeper into regional and global supply chains.
The grand opening of Production Factory No. 2 does not just mark the completion of a new facility; it stands as an important milestone in Automech’s growth journey. It is the journey of a Vietnamese mechanical enterprise gradually asserting its position through production capacity, technology, an innovative spirit, and a global vision.
With Factory No. 2, Automech lays down another vital foundation for its long-term objective: contributing to building a stronger, more proactive, and highly competitive Vietnamese supporting industry ecosystem within the global supply chain.
